Genuine precious metals and gemstones are used in all of my pieces and as such they need to be handled with care. Gemstones can break or crack if dropped on a hard surface. Take extra care.

Many genuine gemstones contain some natural fractures and cleaning with vibration or other powered tools may cause damage. Using warm, soapy water coupled with gentle scrubbing is the safest way to clean. However, in the case of turquoise, avoid fully submerging in liquid.

Avoid contact with chemicals -likely to permanently damage the surface of turquoise and other delicate or porous gems (like pearls). Chlorine bleach, another common household solvent, can pit or damage gold alloys.
